Each 100 ml contains:

Oxytetracycline HCL:             10.8 gm (equiv. to Oxytetracycline 10 gm).

Oxytetracycline is a Tetracyclines antibiotic, has a bacteriostatic action on susceptible microorganisms.

It has a broad spectrum activity against a variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and also against: Mycoplasma, Rickettsia Clamjdia and Anaplasma.

It acts by interfering with protein synthesis of bacterial cell by binding to 30 S ribosomal subunits.

It is readily disperses throughout the body attaining therapeutic level in most tissues and fluids within a short time.


It is indicated in the treatment of infections of respiratory tract , infections of urinary tract , enteritis , mastitis , Metritis , wound infections , abscesses , foot rot , superficial infections and navel/joint ill in cattle , Sheep , Goats, Calves, Cats, Dogs & Pigs.

Dosage and administration:

20 mg / kg .B.Wt. for 3-5 days.

1 ml/ 20 Kg. B. Wt. for 3-5 days. By deep I/M injection.


-There are no side effects if it has been taken in therapeutic doses.

In young animals may cause discoloration of teeth due to tetracycline deposits.

-Dose more than 20 ml should be injected at different sites in cattle and more than 5 ml in sheep and goats.

-Withdrawal time: Meat: 21 days.

-Store below 30°C away from direct sunlight and keep out of reach of children.

Warnings: Not to be used for lactating animals and poultry.
