Solution for injection

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic

Tolfenamic acid acts by inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, thereby exerting anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative, analgesic and antipyretic properties. Anti-inflammatory activity of the tolfenamic acid is in particular due to inhibition of the cyclo-oxygenase leading to a reduction of the synthesis of prostaglandins and thromboxanes, important inflammatory mediators.
