ATROPINE SULPHATE 1% . (Injection)

 

Composition:
Each 100 ml contains:
Atropine Sulphate 1 gm


Indications:
Atropine sulphate injection:
Is an antispasmodic, decrease salivary and intestinal secretions, also decrease intestinal motility, used as antidote in organophosphorus poisoning and used as preanaesthetic.


Dosage Administration:
Subcutaneous injection.

Horses:
0.1-1ml / 100 kg B. wt.
Cattle & Pigs:
1-10 ml / 100 kg B.wt.
Sheep:
ml / 25 kg B.wt. 0.25
Dogs & Cats:
30-100 mcg / kg B.wt.

As antidote to organophosphorus poisoning
For all species of animals:
0.1ml / kg B.wt.
Repeat the dose in severe cases.
